Description
I tried to upgrade our ownCloud.
Now the download of old files is not possible anymore. Forbidden is shown.
With new files we have no problem.
The file permissions are the same for new and old ones as well as user + group.
Only error in log: set_time_limit(): Cannot set max execution time limit due to system policy at ...
Okay, master key is good. Did you just do this or something else. Because in the official documentation there are more steps. Also did you enable encryption right after the installation of ownCloud or later?
I unpacked the tar archive and moved the data folder as well as the config file Form the old to the new owncloud folder. After owncloud compained about a missing .ocdata i added a empty file to data
could it be possible that this is the culprit here? From what i know you can’t “just move” the data directory from one place to anther one without doing modifications within the ownCloud database.
Unfortunately, I think this is not the point. All path variables mentioned in your link are correct. That’s because I renamed the old folder to owncloud-old and installed the new owncloud such that all pathes kept the same.
