is there a way to backup an OwnCloud server via WebDAV. We have many files on OwnCloud but no way to connect the server except the owncloud desktop connector on windows an WebDAV. I`m looking for a tool to connect via WebDAV and copy all files.

I’d say no. With WebDAV, you can access the files of any single user, but not all users.
You could create a special backup user, and all users share their tree with him. Then you can download this with any WebDAV client. But no clue whether this really works.
