Context menu does not work anymore

Expected behaviour

Tell us what should happen: context menu for sharing links appears by klicking on folders.

Actual behaviour

Tell us what happens instead: context menu appears as "owncloud" without any function. I went back to 2.3.4

Steps to reproduce

  1. update from client 2.3.4 to 2.4

Client configuration

Client version: 2.4

Operating system: mac OS 10.10 and 10.11

OS language: de

Qt version used by client package (Linux only, see also Settings dialog):

Template for output < 10 lines

Hey @meisterleise! Thanks for reporting!

Context menu suffered some changes for 2.4 that require a new Finder extension to be installed replacing the old one.



There might be an issue on doing it so at runtime without a reboot (https://github.com/owncloud/client/issues/5382) could you try that?

If that doesn't work out, try killing the extension directly from the "Activity Monitor" and uninstalling ownCloud.app (move it to the trash) and reinstall 2.4.
