Crashing ./occ upgrade?

trying to do an upgrade from an old 7.0 release...

when I run ./occ upgrade - it pops up with the message, going into maintenance mode.. and then it simply stops responding.

If I run a "top" in a second window, I can see the php come up.. and then disappear.. and then the system seems to lock up and I lose my SSH log-in (I'm not at the actual system = I'm remote SSH'ing in)...

Then try to get a stable ssh-session first. If you think that your process was killed or some other problems on the system, consult the system error-logs, also the owncloud-logfile to get the actual error.
