I’m not sure what’s happening with Owncloud team. They put the effort to release Owncloud classic 11 with full php 8.3 modern support. This was really late, and a lot of users escaped to Nextcloud and whatever.
The android App works perfectly with owncloud 11 classic.
What happened instead to the desktop client? I accidentally upgraded to 7 just to discover this thread.
If I can give a suggestion, fork and make the Ocis desktop version a totally different name and numbering, and keep the classic on its own area. Putting the desktop 7 release on the download page makes user think “hey I can uprade!” .
Please consider “fixing” this really strange situation… thanks
