Desktop Sync Client 2.5.1 - Error synchronizing the folder with a space at the end

Today I noticed that some users of the cloud some folders under
Windows will not be syncronized.

In the overview of error messages in the client is also “The file name ends with spaces”.

I do not know yet how these spaces are there
exclusively with mobile devices in the cloud.

If I delete the space in the web interface, this folder syncronized by the client.
How can already be prevented on server side, that file name and folder name not with
Spaces end?

Without access to your command line download the data/owncloud.db to your local

SELECT * FROM `oc_appconfig` WHERE `appid` = 'user_ldap';

Eventually replace sensitive data as the name/IP-address of your LDAP server or groups.

Hello Tom,

nobody fills in all this data. It does not matter which owncloud version is installed on the server, it is generally a problem on owncloud and nextcloud itself that folders with one or more blank spaces (whitespace) can be created at the end. Whitespace in the end is inadmissible in the case of folders or file names. However, if you mistakenly send a whitespace after the folder or file name in the web client or in the Android APP, that folder or file will not be synced by a Windows or iOS client.
