Document Versioning keep forever

Dear Sir,
We need to keep document files all versioning over 20 years, I found the option configuration can be disable version:

“Disable Versions; no files will be deleted.”

Is it still keep all versions without delete? Or this option only disable versioning (no versions control)?

both parameters D1, D2

have to be set to 20x365

you also have to have enough storage space.
