Since the Gallery app has now been discontinued / replaced with the new media viewer, I find I am missing the option to view my photos as thumbnails.
When looking through my photos folder, I find the files ‘details’ view is not really the view i need as I want a better view of the photos, rather than the information about them.
Is it possible to develop a media / photo thumbnail view that can be switched to within the files app?
Breaking the thumbnails up with the day / date of the next batch, would give you an almost gallery viewer, built into the files app, specifically for viewing photos.
The new media viewer is great, but the loss of this cataloguing system is frustrating for those of us who use OwnCloud for storing family photos.
