I can't delete files

Hello,
I have a problem which occurs on a regular basis. Mainly with larger files. I am using an external provider for my owncloud Server (Version 10.0.8.5).

Some files can’t delet. Neither from my client (Version 2.4.1) nor directly over the online application. There is the message “Error deleting file”.

To save space on my server I deleted it the files in the backend of my server. But the file still remains in the online application and my client gives an error “… deleted from server”

How can I get rid of every trace of those files?

WRONG. This is NOT supported. You’re only allowed to delete files directly in the backend of external storages (SFTP, Dropbox, etc).

Try running an occ files:scan to fix (and I remark, fix) the problem.
