Is there any way for Owncloud to notify a user that a file is open by another user?

I read in other post that it is complex to set the locks and unlocks in the open files, but it would be very helpful if there is a way for a user to “see” if the file is open, for example to change the icon (from green to red) or something similar.
Is this or is it possible to achieve it? It’s giving us a lot of trouble not knowing when a partner is editing a file.

I don’t think so. Not at the moment at least. You can open a feature request in the client repository on GitHub though.
