My ownCloud in production is down


First of all thank you for reading my post and give yourself the time to help me.

After an update from 8.2 to 9.0 the application stopped working, did not connect the synchronization clients and started to throw an error on internal server.

I've done everything from reinstallation step by step to create a new server in parallel with the database plus the storage and even if it does not work.

Now I am not allowed to downgrade or anything. Just throw me in the web client this;

"Internal Server Error
The server has encountered an error and can not complete the request.
Please contact the server administrator if this error reappears multiple times. Please also include the technical details below.

What information do I have to provide to receive some help?

Any information is of great help and I am eternally grateful.

When having such issues its the best to do the following:

  1. Revert to your backup with the last current working state of your 8.2 installation
  2. Update to the latest 8.2.x release first, currently 8.2.10 (you havn't stated from which version you we're coming from)
  3. Afterwards continue upgrade to 9.0.8

On step 3. make sure that you deleted all files and folders except /data and /config. With this steps you're mostly won't face such issues like this.
