i have ddclient install to get the domain name
problem is i can access my owncloud server over my ip address with https but when i use the domain it doesn't work but i can use the domain without https and it work
did you create an IP-forward to the IP-address of your owncloud?
if you use the https standard port 443, you have to forward him to your owncloud.
