Owncloud preventing system restore in windows 10

After 50 or 60 restarts resulting from uninstalls and reinstalls with slightly differing characteristics, I was able to get a system restore done by the following:

  1. Uninstall ownCloud
  2. Fully remove directories from Program Files, :/users/[user]/ownCloud, :/users/[user]/AppData/Local/ownCloud, :/users/[user]/AppData/Roaming/ownCloud
  3. Reinstall ownCloud
  4. Create directory :/users/[user]/ownCloud
  5. Initiate System Restore
