SMB share on desktop app?

Hi all, I’m on 10.10.0.3 in HyperV on Server 2022, using a recent image of the OwnCloud Appliance (has the UCS portal and so on, on Debian 10) and have got SMB “Collaborative file ids” shares working and enabled for all users. This works just fine and shows up under the External Storage category, but from the desktop app there doesn’t appear to be any way to access it or add a folder sync. Is this possible?

I also want to not have my individual user files on the appliance server itself - an SMB share for that would be ideal so I can have it on my storage array which is backed up and independent to the server. Is that possible at all? If it requires linux wizardry please tell me like I’m five, I’m not a linux guy.
