Sync Shared folder (without having an accound)

Dear list,

I was wondering if it is possible to use the client to access and sync a shared folder without having an account on the hosing server? (public shares, password protected shares...)
I think this would be a very much helpful feature!

For public shares it is not planned, but for guest users who exist with email and password we are considering it for 10.0. might need to move to 10.1.
For Enterprise customers we deliver this already today as "guest app" with some specialized use cases in mind.
