Upgrade Tips for 10.0.4.4

Hi,

I wanna upgrade my OC VM and need tips.

Here is what I have now:

OwnCloud 10.0.4.4
Centos 7
MariaDB 5.5.60
Apache 2.4.6
PHP 5.6.40 (w)

Any way to upgrade my MariaDB and PHP without breaking 10.0.4? Do I need to ‘update’ my DB after to v10 compatibility to leverage new stuff? Can I use PHP 7.3 on 10.0.4?

Also, if I make a new VM with the latest and greatest and install OC 10.1.1 how to I restore my DB and data?

Hey,

from what i know ownCloud 10.0 and 10.1 is compatible to up to PHP 7.2. If you’re unsure about whats supported by ownCloud maybe the system requirements documentation available here could help you:
