User files not showing up

I can log in as admin, and see the folder structure of my area, but when I go into a folder I just get the spinning icon, even though I can see via the server there are all the files in the folder.

For my users they don’t even get the folder structure, they just get the spinning icon.

I’m not sure how you can reproduce this.

Expect behaviour is to see the files within the folders

Whats actual happening is the spinner is just rotating on an empty screen

update to this… the folders for admin are visible but you still get the blank page spinning icon when you go into each folder
EXCEPT the one folder that only has jpg/tif files in it, I can access that folder no problems.

All users (including admin) can access deleted files and folders but for active folders they just get the blank page and spinning icon

a further update, I turned on debugging for the log and accessed two folders from the admin screen, the first “Rockcliffe” displays correctly, but the second “Highview Place” just displays a blank screen and spinner (there are files in that folder on the server)

okay I have an update on this.

I had tried everything, restores to before the problem, updates, new installations, finally I’d exhausted all software side possibilities because until I did the update the system had been working and then it wasn’t.

So I passed it back to server support suggesting it must be an update problem at their end. Sure enough they found an error in the litespeed webserver installation they’d recently installed, so not an owncloud problem at all.
