Adding files and folder to OwnCloud from the same server

Hi
I have Owncloud running with docker in my own server. As well i have some documents that i would like to add to my user to have access to them through the apps.

Anyone know how can i make it? i though adding them to the proper volume and username would be enough but i was wrong.

i think you could try to use the external storage app to include files from the same server to ownCloud:
