Admin account lost his privileges after upgrade to 10 (no more admin options in the menu)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Upgrade to ownCloud 10.6.0 from 9.X

Expected behaviour

Admin user to still have admin privileges

Actual behaviour

Admin user appears to have become a “normal” user

Server configuration

Operating system: VM (VirtualBox) on Win10

  • Server: ucs-6005.ndrinta.intranet
  • UCS Version: 4.4-8 errata962 (Blumenthal)
  • UMC Version: 11.0.6-10A~4.4.0.202103241418

ownCloud version: 10.6.0 (stable)

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: 9.X

Where did you install ownCloud from: Updater

Signing status (ownCloud 9.0 and above):

Access forbidden
Logged in user must be an admin

The content of config/config.php: Unable to get it ATM.

List of activated apps:

  • OwnCloud

Are you using external storage, if yes which one: No

Are you using encryption: No

Are you using an external user-backend, if yes which one: No

Client configuration

Browser: EDGE/Chrome (latest as of today)

Operating system: Win10
