I reset my admin password and because there's no "retype your password" field i must've typed it wrong.
now i can;t log in to my admin account, who is sharing folders to the whole organization.
and when i try to reset the password i'm getting a message saying "your files are encrypted. if you haven't entered the recovery key, there will be no way to get your data back after your password is reset"
i can reset it via email reset link or OCC command but i don't want to risk losingall data.
at what point it will ask for the recovery key?
what if i haven't created one will it ask anyways?
what if i went to each shared folder and backed it manually to the user's desktop will it also be affected?
Help please.
