Android 10 Redmi 9T, about = 2.8.2
I’m able to edit a sync file on android 10 and it updates. However, if I add files to the owncloud sync folder on android by using another app eg totalcommander they never get updated to server unless they are instantiated in photos which is the default auto update.
Apart from that, I am rapt in Opencloud and using it in preference to Dropbox which has very limited client numbers (but performs exactly as I would like with file sync, across all platforms).
