Auto media upload on iOS not working

Expected behaviour

Auto upload media when app running in background

Actual behaviour

Media are uploaded only when I open app even if I flag it to run in background.
Please see images attached.

ownCloud version: owncloud/server 10.15 (docker)

Client

iOS version: 18.1.1

ownCloud app version: ownCloud release version 12.3.1 build 292

the background feature is in “lab version”, as it is appreciated in the screenshot. We hope we can improve that!!
