Auto sync camera gallery?

seems to me that an answer and a solution was already provided in a different thread you have found:

Android Phone:Only newly clicked photos from camera folder uploaded to the cloud. Is there a way for making all the old files from camera folder to upload automatically from my android phone?

I think that’s how auto upload is designed to be. If you want to upload everything in your camera folder, just use the normal upload. I personally use foldersync for it’s large number of configuration options and owncloud app to view file afterwards.
