Automatic photo upload on iOS stopped working?

I’m trying to setup automatic upload of photos from an iPhone to my ownCloud server. In the iOS app, whenever I select Settings -> Media Upload -> Auto Upload Photos I get the following error message:

Auto upload disabled
Auto upload of media was disabled since configured account / folder was not found

I haven’t found either in the iOS app or within ownCloud’s web UI settings anyplace to “designate” a folder for photo uploads. What am I missing?

Thanks!

I would have thought so too, but nope…

Removing and re-installing the iOS app fixed the problem. Go figure. ¯_ (ツ)_/¯

What it was trying to tell you is that the app didn’t know your credentials at the server… It usually asks those at install/first-run time. So my guess is that you either skipped the step the first time (somehow) or made a typo.

The reinstall forced you to re-enter the credentials.
