Cannot install to synology

Hi guys,
I am trying last few days install owncloud to synology but I cannot find where is a problem.

After installation I open configuration page in browser and I have 2 problems:

  1. Can't create or write into the data directory /volume1/owncloud - but http group is allowed to read/write. I also try chmod 777 in terminal but nothing help.

  2. In same first webpage in configuration I have no MariaDB in options, just SQLite and PostgeSQL.

I follow many guides like:

but if you can help me, I will be really happy.

Thank you,
M.

A current fault is that the webserver user doesn't have enough permissions for the /volume1-folder.

Could also be an open_basedir-restriction but that should show up in your logfiles.

Is there any solution?

All sets - :/dev/urandom :/volume1/owncloud

The solution is (obviously) to give the proper permission for your webserver user to this volume. A few generic instructions are available at [1] which most likely needs to be adopted to your environment. As this is also nothing ownCloud specific you also might need to ask on a community dedicated to Synology how to adopt this.
