Cannot update automatically or manually

Hello.

I've been hosting Owncloud 8.2.1 on a Dreamhost website for a few years now without trouble. The main thing I use it for is CalDav so I can have a synchronized calendar.

I have SSH access to my account at Dreamhost but not the ability to be a sudoer. The server is running Ubuntu 14.

I get an error when I try to update Owncloud, specifically:

Client error response [url] https://download.owncloud.org/community/owncloud-8.2.11.zip [status code] 404 [reason phrase] Not Found

Sure enough, when I try the link manually in my browser owncloud-8.2.11.zip doesn't exist. I looked at the owncloud update page and it said to run the following:

For Ubuntu 14.04 run the following:

sudo sh -c "echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:/ownCloud:/desktop/Ubuntu_14.04/ /' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncloud-client.list"
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install owncloud-client

... but I'm not and cannot become a sudoer unless I buy a dedicated server for $200/month.

Are there any ideas of what I can do? I'm not an expert in web stuff at all.

Thank you for any help.

Hi,

can you contact the support at your hoster?

also I don't think ownCloud is offering packages for 8.2 anymore
