Cannot upgrade the Market place 0.1.0 to 0.2.1

I am having problem upgrading the market place from 0.1.0 to 0.2.1 and i cannot install any of the apps, when i click on the upgrade button the button changes to "upgrading" and after that it goes back to "update" and nothing happens

Okay - there is a 500 server error - please have a look at the log and post error messages which might look related or match the time

is there a file named 'lib/composer/pear/archive_tar/Archive/tar.php' in your installation folder?

No, the Archive folder is empty :slight_smile:

so your installation is broken - no idea why - but at least this file is missing.

ok can you tell me where i can find that file i will add it and see if it will fix the problem, however i find the tar.php file in the /lib/private/Archive/ folder is it the same? can i copy it to that other folder?

The file has to be in the package from where you did perform the installation.

How did you install?

I installed it from my control panel from my web hosting provider, they offer the possiblity to instal differetn application using "softaculous" i dont know if you know it

Had same problem, replaced my /apps/market folder with this:
https://github.com/owncloud/market/releases/download/v0.2.1/market.tar.gz
