Cannot view vertical photos on the web side

docker server
version is 10.14.0

The vertical photos cannot be loaded on the web side, while the horizontal photos are fine.
These vertical photos are taken partly with a camera and partly with a cell phone.

Hey,

could this be related to this?

Thank u, that is the problem.
i insert 'preview_max_dimensions' => '6016x6016' to config.php and the picture can be shown.

The preview_max_dimensions setting was not properly reflected in the docs.
I’ve taken this portrait/landscape example to expand the docs.

Maybe someone wants to produce a PR to update the default so that both landscape and portrait are first class citizens?

Hello Cherrs,

I am very happy finding your solution here because I have the same problem.
I am stuck with the auto upgrade from 10.14.0.3 to version 10.15.0 so I would like to to insert ‘preview_max_dimensions’ => ‘6016x6016’ in the config.php
I tried to insert it at the end of the config.php but without success!
Could you help me please?
Manx thanks, JClaude

Hey,

i think it could be maybe makes sense what the “but without success” means. And i think it could be also possible that it could make sense to create a new topic for support on how to edit a file correctly.

Are u asking u don’t know how to edit config.php, or u have edited it already but the configuration hasn’t take effect

Thank you for your reply Cherrs!

I don’t know where in the php file to put your line, that’s my problem.
I put it at the beginning, no effect.
I put it at the end, Owncloud didn’t started anymore.
Could you put your php file here to show where you put the ‘preview_max_dimensions’ => ‘6016x6016’
The other solution would be to make the update to 10.15.0 but I can’t, see the error message in another post.
What do you think?

Just insert the line before ‘);’
And u should end each line with ‘,’

Thank you very much Cherrs, this time it works.
I think it was the position in the lines and also the comma at the end of the line.
I still have to do the same on a second Owncloud in a few days.
I saw that you remained in version 10.14.0.3 while on 10.15.0 this problem seems resolved.

Once again THANK YOU very much.
Jean-Claude
