Cannot write into “config” directory! on Arch Linux

I set up a server following this tutorial, which I know is a bit old and also with nginx. I installed the necessary php7 version and it seems to work.

But I get the message that I don’t have write permissions, although I have give the http user the required permission multiple times. I verified all the steps in the tutorial.

Does anyone have an idea what could be missing?

config -> /etc/webapps/owncloud/config

Make sure that the links target directory /etc/webapps/owncloud/config is also owned by user http and has permission rwxr-xr-x.

BTW, who told you, to put the config directory outside the ownCloud tree? I cannot find such advice to do so.

BTW1, There is no reason to install ownCloud 10.5 nowadays. Please do yourself a favor and start over with a current version 10.7.
