I install owncloud on ubuntu and all fine for first user, synchronization work fine. I create second user, and can’t login, “wrong password”.
Why?

Might be Caps-Lock on or a simple typo. I only can guess, due to the lack if information. 
No, password is absolutly right
Is the free version multiuser?
Yes, of course. You can have as many user you want.
Maybe this is related to your issue?
