Can't upgrade past 8.2.7 with updater app?

I experience this issue on multiple platforms and so far it seems likely that the update server just doesn’t show available updates?

I see nothing coming back from https://updates.owncloud.com/server/

Would be great to get an answer as to wether this is disabled or if we do have a localised issue (it’s across multiple versions and servers so unlikely?).

Yes, the update server is only providing 8.2.7:

As told many times in the past: Don’t use the updater app if you’re relying on working and on-time updates of current versions.

Thanks mate. Yes definitely missed the fact that this app isn’t supported.

Hopefully there is nobody running web apps like these who don’t think they need working and current updates.

Hi,

the app is supported. But the delayed updates and broken updates via this apps are known since ages and nothing changed up to now (I think we both had that discussion also at least one time on IRC). So the best is to follow my advise:

Don’t use the updater app if you’re relying on working and on-time updates of current versions.

If you follow that and do the manual updates/upgrades you will always have the latest available version and the least danger to get a non-working update/upgrade.
