I have samba sharing the data folder on the server. Directly modifying files in the data folder through samba in the server are not synced to the clients. is there a way to make the data folder fully monitered and any changes in this folder will be synced to all the clients?
Steps to reproduce
1. On the server share the owncloud data folder through Samba
2. Write/delete file in the data folder through Samba
3. Files that are modified won't be synced by owncloud
Expected behaviour
The reason i share the data folder of owncloud on the server is because i want to directly modify the files through samba without installing the owncloud client program for the PC at home.
Actual behaviour
The server won't sync the files that are modified through samba

Web server: lighttpd
Database: sqlite
PHP version: 5.6.27
ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 9.1 stable
