Hi, is there any way for a user or admin to see how much disk space is left using the desktop client OR web portal?

in the sync client you can see as a user how much space you are using and how much is total. Just go to the settings. It’s below the information that you are connected to your server.
Don’t know if you mean this or the total space left on your storage of the ownCloud server. Don’t know if you can do this from webUI or Sync Client
