Conflict files appearing on OwnCloud

I have multiple users who are getting conflict files with excel documents. Seems to only happen to excel documents.

Users will edit a file then save. A conflict file will then appear in the near future with the updated document and the original document will still be the previous version once this is has appeared.

Can you explain to me why this happens and how this can be stopped from happening?

Please provide more information.

Hey @dgunning1,

to me the “more information” @michaelstingl is asking is basically the below which is shown when creating a new topic and which you seem to have deleted from your post. I think the template is shown to make sure you’re getting the best possible help.
