No. You have to use a WebDAV aware client.

Okay, so WinSCP exampel? hostname is the url and using username and password?

I’m not using windows, but as you might have WinSCP, I think you can use if for communicating with ownCloud, I seems to support WebDAV.

does not seem to work.
I go to cloud.domain.com and uses username and password.

I get error message 405 Method Not Allowed error listing directory ‘/’

The URL has to be like

https://cloud.domain.com/remote.php/dav/files/username/
