[Contacts app] Importing .csv contacts

Hi all,

according to the documentation a user should be able to import contacts in .csv file format to the contacts app. Apparently this only works when using vcard file format. Is this a bug or does anyone know more about this?

I assume you have been reading the docs for the old contacts app which was available until oc9.
The new contacts app as developed since oc9 does not yet provide such a feature.

Thanks for info! So the app is currently limited to vcard? Do you know if support for other formats is planned to be available again?

yes

This mainly depends on community contributions. Would be nice to have - but I'm not aware of anybody really working on this.
