cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: myhostname.com

Hi

I am running OC 10.0.6 and I’m trying to use the updater to upgrade to v10.0.8 but I am receiving this error:

cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: myhostname.com

I did recently change my external dns name, can this be why I’m getting this error?

Can you upgrade manually? That’s the recommended way to go.

while i think manually upgrading is the best option this probably should be fixed as well:

I found the following document:

which seems to note the following for the error message:

Couldn’t resolve host. The given remote host was not resolved.

Both, the message and the error looks to me indeed like an DNS issue on your server.

I guess instead of trying to fix this issue ill have to try and manually upgrade OC.
