Download whole folders from shared link as zip instead of tar

Steps to reproduce
1.share a folder by link
2.use the link to download that folder

Expected behaviour
I’d like the folder to be downloaded as a zip file

Actual behaviour
the folder is downloaded as a tar file, which confuses unlearned windows users…

Server configuration
Operating system: Omnios
Web server: apache
Database: mysql
PHP version: 5.4
ownCloud version (see ownCloud admin page): 9.1.1
Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: fresh install
Special configuration (external storage, external authentication, reverse proxy, server-side-encryption): ldap auth

Downloads on shared links should be only provided as .tar files for Mac OS X users (due to insufficient zip support on Mac OS X). For windows and linux .zip is used / provided.

Is it possible to force all shared link downloads as zip? Because there is not problem with zip support on Mac OS (at least last 10 years) and tar extension is very confusing

There is no config option to customize this behavior. But believe me we do this on purpose :wink:
