Definitely I keep having problems with Owncloud.
Here are the latest mistakes
Where does the problem come from?
Web server: Ovh mutualisé
Database: MYSQL v.5.6
PHP version: 7.3
ownCloud version: 2.8.1 (build 4157)
Storage backend (external storage):
Client version: 10.7.0.4
Can you download the same file in the web UI?
Could you check the owncloud.log for related errors? Maybe post a few lines…
Looks like this error message in the desktop sync client:

<source>The downloaded file is empty despite the server announced it should have been %1.</source>
<translation>Le fichier téléchargé est vide bien que le serveur indique que sa taille devrait être de %1.</translation>
</message>
