Steps to reproduce

Update from 10.0.1 to 10.2.0 with this manual

Login on owncloud -> OK, after this i receive a blue blank page http://myhost//apps/files/

What is the contents of owncloud.log? I’m convinced we’ll find an Exception there, which is preventing the display of the login page.

Could you disable any non-core app and try to login? Then you can enable the apps one by one in order to check if there is an app causing the crash.
You can get the list from https://github.com/owncloud/core/tree/v10.2.0/apps , so as said, try to disable any app you have outside of that list.

You can also check what happens with any other browser as it might be related to Chrome.

In addition, as it has been mentioned, provide logs to know what’s happening in the server.

Hi,
sorry for the delay.

I have two owncloud.log files. On at the data folder and one at .htgdjgjgdfjsgjsgfj folder. The data Log is empty and the other file have only entries before the update. I have add a php error log, but there are no messages, too.

Have you an idea?

The log file should be in your dedicated data directory (usally <www docroot>/data). What does the datadirectory property in your config.php say? Is there an owncloud.log?

I can hardly believe the logfile could be empty. Is it possible, that the www user does not have rw-rights for the data folder?

What is the .htgdjgjgdfjsgjsgfj folder? When and why did you create it?

This is the line of the config.php

I don’t create the folder, perhaps while the encryption process? The rw-rights are the same before the update. But i for testing i have added 777…

Hey,

i don’t think that ownCloud is changing the datadirectory configuration on its own. From what i know this is also only set once during the installation and requires database modification if it is changed afterwards. Maybe the changed data directory is the root cause of the upgrading issue?
