Error Creating User - Invalid Mail Address

Hi everyone.

When I try to add a user and then input the email address, owncloud will not allow me to create a new user. The error message "Error Creating User: Invalid mail address" keeps popping up despite everything is entered correctly.

I am on version 10.0.7 of ownclound, on a shared hosting server with CPANEL.
