Error Creating User - Invalid Mail Address

Hi everyone.

When I try to add a user and then input the email address, owncloud will not allow me to create a new user. The error message “Error Creating User: Invalid mail address” keeps popping up despite everything is entered correctly.

I am on version 10.0.7 of ownclound, on a shared hosting server with CPANEL.

Steps to reproduce Add user profile email account and click Set Email Any written email account will get en error "Invalid mail address" Server configuration Centos 6.9 Apache PHP5.6 with PHP-FPM MariaDB 10.1 ownCloud 10.0.6 (stable) Fresh install from www.owncloud.org
