Hi I am following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Jk_JVo7Dk Web page instructions are here http://www.avoiderrors.net/raspberry-pi-owncloud/
When I get to 8:07 where your to login into Owncloud I am getting the following error.

Error while trying to create admin user: Failed to connect the database: An exception occurred in driver: SQLSTATE[HY000][1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:YES)

I am assuming when changing the password something went wrong is their a config file on the server (Raspberry Pi) I can open look at then edit the passwords?

I installed the latest version of Owncloud on the latest version of Raspbian on a Raspberry Pi 3

On a side note is their a way to make this box I am typing in go to full page I have a 24" monitor and am typing in a box 2.5" tall.

This is a question about MySQL. Look online for information on how to reset the root password in MySQL.

I researched resetting the MySQL password I did not understand 90% of what I was reading https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/resetting-permissions.html for example just stopping the server, the instructions assume I know how to find the server to issue a command to stop the server, I have no idea where the server is or how to access, without complete step by step instructions I can see resetting the password will never happen.

I think my best chance of success would be to reinstall owncloud and try installing again. I tried reinstalling owncloud and it said owncloud is already the newest version so it aborted the installation process nothing was changed, I assume I need to uninstall owncloud then reinstall?

How do I uninstall owncloud, I searched this site on uninstalling owncloud and did not find specific instructions to my installation type.

I have the same problem I have installed Owncloud 10 on 2 other servers without problem all find until the other day when I broken on of the servers I did an APT autoremove and that has messed things up so I decided to follow the tutorials to install new server from fresh all fine again 10.0.7 was the version.

I now had the first use gui x.y.z.69/owncloud/index.php and get errors when trying to add the admin user

I did set a root password for mysql and there is a database called owncloud.

I just cant get past the infinate loop of seeing

Any help would be nice. a soulution to fix this also nice to have
I see too many threads saying thinks to someone who provided the help but never what the help was?
