Hi there,

some users are receiving the error message “Invalid private key for Encryption App. Please update your private key password in your personal settings to recover access to your encrypted files.”

User configuration is from Active Directory via LDAP, so they cannot change their password in OwnCloud?

When changing the encyrption password status is “saving…” and nothing happens.

So how to go on to fix this problem?
Any idea?

Could it be that their LDAP Password expires?

thank you, but ldap password don’t expire and they can login to owncloud. but we’ll have a try what happens when password is changed.
