External Storage Security

Hi there!
I use OC on my own webspace (shared server on German ground) for security reasons. It's not encrypted.
Now i hestitate concerning adding further GoogleDrive storage which is supposed to be the opposite from "safe". Two questions - technically seen maybe naive..
1. Can the "evil" GoogleDrive then "look" into my good OC-stored data?
2. Is it senseful to encrypt ONLY THE GoogleDrive space. Is it "safe" then?
With safe I safe I mean that it's 100% impossible for Google to analyse and make use of the data.

Thaanks, Sebastian

External Storage provider can't get access to your own hosted data.

It makes sense to encrypt the external storage. Exactly for this use-case the Encryption App is provided. However there is no absolute "safety".
