Failed to connect to the database DB error

Hello,
i’ve a Problem with the Website.
After Rebooting the Server the page is available for 5 to 10 minutes, after that I get the error: Exception occurred while logging exception: Failed to connect to the database: An exception occured in driver: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory
A reboot didn’t have any effects.
When I’m add the entry InnoDB_force_recovery = 25 in the /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysql.cnf file I get an internal server error.

Did someone had the same error?

many thanks for our help!

Hello,

well, did you modify anything before to have this error ? It could be that you changed the connection from IP to socket, or anything else. It could be a missing PHP module etc … Give us some more details about the before and the after.
Don’t modify the innodb_force_recovery over 4, 25 is not even a value. Did you have an InnoDB crash ?
By the way, it doesn’t seem to be an ownCloud problem.
Cheers.

Hi cs35,
thank you for your fast reply!

you are totally right… it’s a problem with the mysql instanz rather with the filesystem of the vm…
I’ve made a full new installation…
Thank you for your help!
