Failure to connect to Owncloud

I am getting a “Failure to connect to Owncloud” message when trying to set up Owncloud on my laptop. I can put the identical address in Google and see my Owncloud files once I get past the “not secure” issue. I’m not sure where to go from here. There do not seem to be any other options in the Owncloud connection wizard. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Al
