Files not accessible from the webUI

Symptom

Not able to browse the files page from an admin account.

Messages that may appear during that issue :

“Your web server is not yet set up properly to allow file synchronization because the WebDAV interface seems to be broken”

“Failed to request notifications. Please try to refresh the page manually”

Environment

ownCloud 10.x

Steps to reproduce

  1. From an admin owncloud account go to Files
  2. Browse the files page
  3. Nothing appear (blank file page)

Cause

The maintenance: single-user mode is activated

If you activate the maintenance: single user mode, only admins can log in and work on the ownCloud instance and they can only access the configuration options. Files and folders are not accessible/displayed

Solution/Workaround

deactivate the maintenance: single-user mode
