How to check on Owncloud sync "progress"

Actual behaviour

I have installed owncloud now two weeks ago, and told the app to sync my pictures to the server.

Well… that never happened. I’ve since figured out that when I click send in the gallery I can get owncloud to upload it. So that worked for emergencies to get a picture in my computer-network, but it is not how it was intended to work.

Now today I decided to give it another try, mainly to try and figure out what mis-configuration I’d done to prevent the uploads from working. Browsing around I accidentally got it to upload one image to the root of my cloud. Not my intention, but I triggered that.

Then a few moments later, suddenly the camera sync seemed to be running.

Expected behaviour

The sync should work, or something should explain why it isn’t working. (can’t reach server?)

Steps to reproduce

I don’t know.

Can this problem be reproduced with the official owncloud server?

IIRC, I installed the app, and it asked me if I wanted to sync my camera pictures to the owncloud server. I said yes.

Could you send me a screenshot of the bottom side of the Settings view? To check the commit hash in which you reproduced it.
