There is a shared folder. In this folder, another user has created another folder with the wrong name. The folder created by the user contains shared files.

Hey,

ownCloud 10.4.1 has been released nearly 3 1/2 years ago (2020-03-30). Maybe you could try to see if the more recent version 10.12.2 doesn’t show this behavior (for example if this was a bug it could be already solved):
