How to switch to beta channel?

Hi guys,
Well,I want to have a try on the beta releases.However it’s useless to switch to beta,even daily in admin settings for me.I looked for the packages in Github,owncloud.org, etc.I cannot find the way to install the beta version.Anyone knows how to deal with it?

You have to enable the Update Notification app.

Then you’ll find Updater section under Settings->Admin->General. There you can select en update channel. Please read the text below!

You can always update to a newer version / experimental channel. But you can never downgrade to a more stable channel.

PS: After some recent trouble with the updater, I’m not sure whether this is a good idea. It’s up to you to decide.
